I took this out in Crescent Beach in south Surrey, BC. Its one of my favorite places in the lower-mainland of BC.

    I love living in surrey. Many people say it has a high crime rate. It does I guess but if u stay out of trouble everything is fine. I’ve lived in surrey my whole life and I have great friends and a great neighbourhood/community. There might be a lot of Indians but what the heck I’m Indo-Canadian and no one makes fun of me for it. I love living where I do now and I am proud to be Canadian! Go Canucks Go!!! = )

      I agree, Surrey gets a bad rap and I’ve never been able to figure out why. Its a great place to live, and I have lived here for 18 years. Its a great multi-cultural city, and I think the bad rap it gets comes from the days before other cultures moved in.
