IP Stuff: Find out about your Internet Connection

I’d like to take a momment for a shameless plug :) I have finished building the beta of my new tool, IP Stuff. IP Stuff will tell you your IP address, your browser string, and the whois information for the IP address you are on.

Why is this useful you ask. Well you may need to know your IP address to troubleshoot a problem with email etc, and you may be behind a NAT router, in which case your computer will not have a real routable IP address on the Inernet. IP Stuff will show you what the Internet “see’s” when you connect to a webpage.

Have you ever been using somebody else’s wireless connection and wondered, “What ISP do they use” IP Stuff can help

IP Stuff is also useful to find out your IP address if you are using a wireless hotspot, or you are surfing from your phone.

Give it a shot and let me know what you think.
