Thanks to the guys over at Penny Arcade, we now have a quick reference comic that will show us “guys” how to convince the other half/SWMBO/etc. That our living rooms will never be complete unless we have the next generation optical format. In this case we are talking about the first HD-DVD players that have officially become available in store.
The movie used in the comic won’t work in my situation, but once I do find the “Perfect Movie” I will be getting an HD DVD player.
Thanks to HD Beat for the link

Team Xbox has an extensive article on 1080p titled “The Facts and Fiction of 1080p“. Its written based on a gamers perspective, but it give great insight on whats behind the marketing fluff of 1080p.

My Lee Valley Aerator Sandals Review.
I recently purchased a unique product from Lee Valley Tools, Aerator Sandals. Basically, they are hard plastic sandals with 2 inch spikes on the bottom. For $13.00 you can’t beat them.
Aerating a lawn is one of the most over looked lawn care chores. Normally you have to rent a heavy machine that’s going to cost you 50 – 60 dollars.
It takes a bit of getting used to when you first start out, but once you get the hang of it, you’ll make your way quickly. I was able to slowly pace out my 1/4 acre back yard without much effort.
Aerating helps the lawn to drain better and hence help to prevent moss!
I am going to post an update later on my Lawn Retoration project. Next up will be Liming, top dressing and over seeding to get that perfect lawn.

Woo Hoo, this quarter’s issue of Skeptic has hit news stands. And just in time, I have run out of periodical reading material.
This looks like a good issue. Lots of coverage on I.D. (Intelligent Design). Including coverage of the Dover Decision. (Good News, I.D. Lost). Plus the cover story is about Artificial Inteligence.
This is a great magazine folks, if you are looking for a good read, and not a rag full of advertising, then you’ll enjoy skeptic. Well worth the $8.00
Enjoy.
